The New York Farm Show will host its fifth annual robotic milking event, sponsored by Farm Credit East, starting at 9:30 a.m. Feb. 26-28 at the State Fairgrounds in Syracuse. The daily roundtable event will feature farmers who’ve used robotic milking equipment and systems from such manufacturers as AMS-Galaxy, Boumatic, Delaval, GEA and Lely.

The roundtable will commence at the upstairs Bistro Room of the Arts and Home Center at the New York State Fairgrounds.

“Keep in mind that each company offers at least one configuration of robots, ranging from single boxes, to double stalls, to inline multiple modules, to even robotic rotary parlors,” said show manager Scott Grigor. “AMS technology is constantly improving. And, there’s a whole new facet developing – robotic feeders for cows and calves.”
