The Cornell Cooperative Extension Albany County 4-H is offering a 4-H Summer Scene 43, a five-week environment and health education program for youth ages 7 to 12. The program will be held July 7 to August 7 from 10 am to 3 pm and Fridays 10 am to 1 pm at the Ridgefield Park, 316 Partridge, W. Lawrence, and Ridgefield Sts. Albany, New York.
Advanced Registration is required and the enrollment fee is $50 per week included lunch and additional children from the same household are $40 per week. A limited number of scholarships are available. Please call 518.765.3500 to request an enrollment application.
The program will explore ideas on healthy lifestyles and how to ‘think green,’ youth will be challenged to gain an understanding of their daily impact on our environment, as well as their own health and well-being through hands-on learning activities.
