Beginning farmers can be part of a workshop series that helps beginners move their businesses forward. The workshop is designed for beginning farmers who have been managing a farm business for four to seven years. Extension Educators, guest speakers and participants will share and learn during the workshop. The objective of this workshop is to help the participants answer these questions:

  • Where am I at with the business?
  • Where do I go from here?
  • What is the best course for the business?
  • Are my market channels working for me?

The workshop begins on January 6 and will continue on January 13 and 27 and February 3, 10 and 17 at the Extension Education Center located at 479 Rte. 66, Hudson, NY 12534. The workshops begin at 9:30 a.m. and conclude at 3 p.m. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.

There is no cost to participate in this workshop, but space is limited. To register by phone or email, contact Tove Ford at 518-765-3518 or by email at tff24@cornell.edu.
