The UConn Beef Auction will be held on November 1 at the Cattle Resource Unit (heifer barn) located on Horsebarn Hill Road, Storrs campus.

The auction is free and open to the general public. Preview of animals begins at 10 a.m. and the auction will be held at noon. Lunch will be available for purchase. This year, in addition to beef cattle, a limited number of pigs will be available for purchase.

Call 860-456-2035 to reserve a pig; pigs will not be sold via auction. Approximately 16 animals are expected to be auctioned and may include Hereford Heifers, Angus (heifers and steers), and Hereford (heifers and steers). Consignments will not be accepted this year. Prior to the auction, the Animal Auction List will be posted on the website.
