The Professional Dairy Managers of Pennsylvania and the Center for Dairy Excellence will be hosting the 2016 Pennsylvania Dairy Summit February 10 to 11 at the Penn Stater Conference Center in State College.

Activities include breakout sessions, side serving discussions and hands-on demonstrations that compliment general sessions filled with industry discussions. These are designed to bring dairy producers and industry leaders together to gain new insight, gather different ideas and expand their knowledge base.

This year’s program will feature keynote discussions with Dr. Danny Klinefelter, from Texas A&M University, on “The 25 Attributes of a 21st Farm Executive”, a producer panel discussing “Profitability on the Farm”, and Lara Daniels from Heartwood Farms sharing her insight on “Needed Hitch Pins.” Dr. Greg Miller will share the latest innovations in dairy nutrition and research, while Jonathan Lamb from Lamb Farms and Oakfield Corner Dairy will share a showcase of their dairy farm business.

Like the dairies represented at the Summit, the sponsors and exhibitors are recognized as some of the best in the industry. The support of these sponsors and exhibitors allow the registration fees to be kept affordable for dairies of all sizes. Sponsorship and exhibitor information for the 2016 Pennsylvania Dairy Summit can be found here. Click under the “Sponsors and Exhibitors” tab, where the opportunities and agreement forms can be found.

Space for vendors is limited and will be handled on a first come, first serve basis. Registration information will be available in November with a block of rooms currently being held at the Penn Stater Convention Center.
