The NH Farm and Forest Exposition will be held January 23 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Radisson Hotel, Frost/Hawthorne Room, 700 Elm Street in Manchester, NH.

The dairy goat seminar will be covering topics such as becoming a licensed dairy and selling milk and milk products to the public. This means following the state regulations and requirements, which include things like a dedicated milk room, concrete floors, sinks, a hot water supply, etc. This session will have one of the state experts there to outline the regulations and answer questions. There will also be a presentation illustrating examples of some of the facilities and equipment used in a typical dairy.

Registration at the door is $5.00 per family and anyone 4-H age is free. The proceeds go toward the conference and 4-H dairy goat activities. Dairy Goat publications will also be for sale.
