The maple season continues to roll with the fourth annual Lake Erie Maple Expo in Albion, Pennsylvania, where attendees will be able to see the latest innovations in maple production.

Taking place at Northwestern High School on Nov. 6-7, the expo is sponsored by the Northwest PA Maple Syrup Producers Association, the Pennsylvania Maple Syrup Producers Council, Ohio Maple Producers Association, Western New York State Maple Producers and the Albion FFA.

This year’s events range from maple tubing installation workshops to the basics of backyard sugaring and confections. Along with the trade show, there will be special maple workshops all day on Friday for a $25 charge.

The second day starts 8 a.m. Saturday with seminar session beginning at 9 a.m. The sessions will include topics such as boiling maple syrup, vacuum pumps and releases, maple mustard and wireless vacuum monitoring systems.
