MaxLite announces LED Barn Lights, an energy-efficient replacement for high-pressure sodium or metal halide fixtures in yards, driveways, barns, docks and other areas requiring ample lumen output and coverage.
The LED luminaries replicate the form and function of 150-watt high-pressure sodium or 175-watt metal halide fixtures while consuming just 35 and 50 watts, respectively. With exceptional efficacy up to 111 lumens per watt, the lights deliver 2,570 to 5,340 lumens in a crisp, bright 5000K color temperature to enhance visibility and safety in rural environments. The barn lights are engineered with a prismatic drop lens that maintains full cutoff distribution and diffuses light evenly over a long life of 150,000 hours. The fixtures operate at 120-277 volts and feature a three-prong National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) twist-lock photocell that can be programmed to automatically turn lights on at dusk and off at dawn for optimal lighting conditions and significant energy savings.
MaxLite LED Barn Lights can be mounted to the wall or a sealed junction box using the provided 24-inch aluminum curved arm. The fixtures are durably constructed of an aluminum housing and polycarbonate lens engineered to withstand the effects of harsh weather conditions and vandalism. In addition, the barn lights are backed by MaxLite’s five-year limited warranty and lifetime product support.
MaxLite LED Barn Lights are qualified by DesignLights Consortium (DLC) and may be purchased with rebates through utility rebate programs nationwide.
