Dr. Rick Sibbel Appointed to Leader of Food Animal Technical Services for Merck Animal Health
Rick Sibbel, D.V.M., has been named Executive Director of Technical Services for Merck Animal Health’s U.S. Food Animal Team. In his new role, Dr. Sibbel oversees the technical services and pharmacovigilance groups for the company’s ruminants, swine and poultry businesses.

Center for Dairy Excellence Names Sebright as Executive Director
The Center for Dairy Excellence has named Jayne Sebright, an Adams County native, as Executive Director of both the center and the Center for Dairy Excellence Foundation of Pennsylvania. The organizations’ board of directors have chosen Sebright as the most qualified candidate for the role. 

U.S. Farm Equipment Exports Decline
Exports of U.S.-made agricultural equipment for first quarter 2016 dropped 8 percent overall compared to first quarter 2015, for a total $1.7 billion shipped to global markets. Europe and Central America each recorded double-digit gains, with double-digit declines from the other world regions, led by Africa and South America, according to the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM), citing U.S. Department of Commerce data it uses in global market reports for members.
