Farm Credit Celebrates 100 Years
Farm Credit celebrated its 100th anniversary on July 17. The President of the United States shared a message of appreciation, the House of Representatives and the Senate both introduced resolutions to commend and congratulate the Farm Credit system and Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack lauded the organization’s role in agriculture and spoke to its ongoing importance to the future.

Vermont Farm Show Supports Two Programs
The Vermont Farm Show announced it will support the Farm and Agricultural Resource Management Stewards (FARMS) 2+2 Scholarship program for the next four years. The show has committed $43,000 to the FARMS 2+2 Scholarship program, which provides scholarships to young Vermonters who are pursuing dairy careers.

Registration Open for Dairy Financial and Risk Management Conference
Registration is now open for the Center for Dairy Excellence’s annual Dairy Financial and Risk Management Conference that will be held on September 28 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Central Penn Conference Center. Cost to attend is $200 per person, including breakfast and lunch. Register here.
