Ted Green Ford to Celebrate 100th Anniversary

8/5/2013

Ted Green Ford, Inc., New England's oldest Ford dealership, is celebrating its 100th anniversary on August 10 and 11.

A benefit golf tournament will be held at the White River Golf Club in Rochester, Vt., starting at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 10. Entry fees for the four-person teams will include a box lunch, prizes and a social hour award ceremony.

On Sunday, August 11, starting at 10 a.m., an Antique & Unique Auto Show will be held at the dealership on the corner of Route 100 and Blackmer Boulevard in Stockbridge, Vt. Old-fashioned games, a variety of music, a mini museum featuring antique Ford memorabilia, a mini store with artifacts from the original store from the late 1800s and traditional penny candies will be part of the fun. A complimentary photo booth, children's bouncy house, face painting, mini golf putting contest, and lots of entertaining events will fill out the day. The local groups that financially support the local meeting house and church will be selling delicious food all day long.

Anyone interested in playing in the nine-hole golf tournament, or wishing to enroll a vehicle (it's free) in the auto show, is encouraged to call Joanne Green Mills at 802-234-5301 for entry forms and information.
