SHOW PREVIEW
Ag Progress Days

August 17-19, Rock Springs, Pa.

Photos by Bob M. Montgomery.

Ag Progress Days, Pennsylvania’s largest outdoor agricultural exposition, will return for its annual three-day run, August 17-19. Sponsored by Penn State’s College of Agricultural Sciences, the event is held at the Russell E. Larson Agricultural Research Center at Rock Springs, 9 miles southwest of State College.

Ag Progress Days features the latest technology and research exhibits, educational programs and guided tours. It is one of only three agricultural exhibitions in the country, sponsored by a major University. Now in its 42nd year, Ag Progress Days showcases work done by Penn State faculty, staff and extension educators across the state to help agricultural producers, families, communities and government agencies address economic, environmental, health and quality-of-life issues.

Exhibits showcase the latest in Penn State research, as well as information on best management practices and changing regulations in the agricultural industry.

Over 400 exhibitors from 31 states and four provinces of Canada will be on-hand for the three-day event. Of the 45,000 expected attendees, over 60 percent are actively engaged in agriculture or related professions.
